I designed a finger brace because it is something that astronauts do not typically need on a regular basis, but if they did they could 3D print this tool to help heal their finger after an accident. Having a printable version of this tool would be a good idea because it would help to reduce weight on the way up to the space station or wherever NASA is traveling. The finger splint that I designed has a locking ring on it that slides up the finger to tighten the splint. This ensures that the splint can fit a large range of finger sizes.
