This container is designed to inhabit a simulated human eye. The purpose of this experiment would be to determine the effects of microgravity and life in space on the human eye. Many astronauts (around 20%) report having problems with their vision after long missions. The near-spherical part in the middle of the container is the exact size of the average human eye. This would allow the various membranes of the eye to be simulated inside the sphere
