One-handed Container

This tool attempts to aid astronauts who need to open containers using only one hand to leave the other hand free to perform other tasks. By positioning a thumb on the lid between the two protrusions and making a sliding motion with it while holding this container with the same hand, the user can open and close this container with a simple stroke. It can be used as a storage device for small objects such as screws, pills, and even viscous liquids like syrup and glue. With this, astronauts can conveniently access supplies and become more efficient at operating and maintaining something as complex as a space station. The lid must be snapped onto the open container with the two protrusions facing up after assembly.
