Home is where the stomach is. Even though the quality and variety of food astronauts eat has increased greatly since the start of space exploration (toothpaste tubes of borscht, yum!), astronauts still can't eat crunchy or messy foods in microgravity for safety reasons. The Crumb Catcher gives astronauts a taste of home by stopping crumbs with its flexible fibers—simply push the food bag through the base of the cup, secure it with the cap, and crunch away! A vacuum hose can even be plugged into the side to make sure every last bite gets consumed. Happy snacking!
