This water bottle is designed to be printed on board the ISS. Water in zero gravity forms large balls due to the surface tension. Due to this behavior, the water will not leak through the small holes on the bottle. A long straw is in the center has been placed for the astronaut to sip the water out of and to use as a handle if the bottle floats away. Hinges have been placed on every side of the cubic shaped water bottle to allow the bottle to be folded down for storage and stacked neatly in cabinets. Finally, the straw of the water bottle can be removed when to refill the bottle with water. With the price of sending cargo to the ISS reaching $20,000 per a pound, eliminating the need to send water bottles up to space will save thousands.
