The design being submitted to the challenge is an alternate solution to a toothbrush. The Flexible Tooth Tray is 3D printable out of polyamide. The flexible material allows for a better fit as the material can stretch around the user’s teeth. The tray is designed to ward off gum disease without the use of water. A powder mixture of baking soda, sea salt, and other herbs will be placed in the tray and then the tray will be placed in the mouth. Gum disease and loss of teeth can lead to other medical problems. The Flexible Tooth Tray is fast to print, under an hour, and can fit a wide variety of people.
