The brace that I designed is a very simple and easy to use brace for any type of injury to a limb. The brace is made out of three rings and four separate poles that have ball and socket joints that slip fit into the sockets placed on each of the rings. The material that I’d use to make it is ABS plastic to allow for some flexibility but also the strength needed in a brace. The brace allows mobility and sturdiness with the ball and socket joints, allowing some movement but providing the stability needed if an astronaut were to get injured.
