Our idea was to create a safe and helpful spine/splint that can be used by everyone small or big, human or animal. Our design can be enlarged or shrunk depending on the size of the recipient. The Design is scored in the middle so that you and snap off either end when you have constructed the chain of appropriate length. For spinal use, the brace helps keep your spinal disks from expanding under low gravity they will not pop or get damaged. For use as a splint, you will have free movement but with some restrictions so that you can heal properly and still have functional ability in your fractured bone. Astronaut Scott Kelly grew about 1 and half inches over his almost yearlong stay in space. This design could really help keep people's spinal disks at a certain size so that they do not potentially damage their spines.
