I have designed an Elbow Brace for the Mars Challenge. This is for the astronauts that hurt their arm on their mission. The design is fairly simple and will be made out of Ninja Flex for maximum comfort. On earth as humans, Sometimes we end up hurting ourselves, and since we do not know what it is like on Mars, One of the astronauts could sprain their elbow by lifting something too heavy, or falling down. So, The Arm Brace is to help support their arm in the recovery stage. On Mars, The astronauts will always have to be on their feet working, and with a hurt arm, that would slow them down. My design will fit in a 6in x 6in x 6in area for printing, I have made sure of that. The Brace is designed to be smaller than the average arm size so it applies pressure on the area, Helping relieve the pain and allowing the astronauts to get back to work in no time.
